My sister in law is having a baby and I’m looking for cool ideas for baby tiger diaper cake . I’m not sure if she is having a boy or a girl – they want to keep it surprising. I haven’t been paying attention but yesterday checked youtube for videos of diaper cakes. And there is pretty big collection of all kinds of videos. Instructions how to make diaper cakes and just diapercake showcases.

I like them all. They are so cute. But I have to say that I like number two and and number 4 the most.

I’ve been busy lately with my kids, Halloween, and all the negativity on the news about economy. I need to relax and calm down a little. If you can send any fresh links with diaper cake pictures, I would really appreciate it. You know, during these times you have to concentrate on positive things. And nothing cheers me up as beautiful diaper cake designs. 
I saw all kinds of diaper cakes by now. But to tell you the true I’m starting to like some trends more than the others. I don’t like really busy and messy cakes. I’m starting to realise that I’m more of a clean look person. Something that actually has a theme and that caries this theme through really well always atracts my attention. Recently I talked to my father on the phone and told him about how excited I am about diaper cakes. He had not idea what I was talking about . He was shocked by the idea that somebody would bake a cake in shape of a diaper.
I had a good laugh and explained him how it is. But now I realize that majority of people are not familiar with the concept and find it strange. I guess diaper cakes are not that popular. Have you seen references to diaper cakes in mass media?
If you have, please let me know. That will help me explain it better for people who are not aware
Yay. It’s working. Check my right navigation bar now. I’m going to have fresh diaper cakes baked into my site every day.
It was surprisingly easy. Every group has it’s own feed. So all i had to do is paster that feed url to my flickr gadget in wordpress.
I remember that I wanted to find all kinds of pictures of diapercakes and wanted to share them with everybody. I even set up an account at flickr.com for that reason. And you could see a live feed from my account on the right navbar from that flickr account.
But later I realised that it is probably not a good thing to do - take somebody’s pictures and upload them to your flickr account. So I thought aboout it and came up with a better idea. I don’t need an account – I need a group of accounts from people who upload their own pictures. This way everybody is happy and there is no copyright issues.
But the interesting thing is that I’m not the only one here interested in diapercakes. I checked flickr and there are already several groups that have baby shower gift theme. And of course there is a diaper cake group. All I need now is figure out how to set up feed from that group on the right nav on my blog.
Any ideas?
With holidays right around the corner there is no time for anything. I’m really busy with my kids, decorating around the house, shopping – well you know the story.
